Splintholz

Splintholz ist das hellere Holz eines Baumstammes, welches das Kernholz einschließt. Splintholz bildet meist einen Mantel zwischen 30 und 50 mm um das Kernholz. Splintholz ist qualitativ geringwertiger als Kernholz. Siehe auch Baumstamm.
