Retification-System

|
Retification-System ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Thermoholz. Bei der Retification wird das Holz auf zwölf Prozent Feuchte getrocknet und danach in einer stickstoffhaltigen Atmosphäre mit weniger als zwei Prozent Sauerstoff langsam auf 210 bis 240°C erhitzt. So wird aus normalem Holz ein Thermoholz, das besonders haltbar ist und manche Tropenhölzer ablösen kann.
